Oh, wow! This year is coming to an end already…
While it certainly feels like we’re just getting started, it’s time to think back and appreciate what a year it has been—in all its little moments and grand successes.
What a Year at Yukon Learning
In 2021, we teamed up with oodles of remarkable friends (both new and old), comprising so many awe-inspiring organizations. Alongside you all, our e-Learning development and Articulate 360 training teams were able to soar to some of our highest heights yet.
Whether we’re sharing a convention floor (face-to-face again…finally!) or a virtual meeting, we are humbled and grateful to cultivate connections with you in so many ways.
We explored Storyline 360 with Training Magazine’s virtual attendees in February. April and October brought sessions in Learning Solutions and DevLearn conferences. September gave us the pleasure of hosting our own Yukon Learning 2021 online accessibility seminar.
Missed the accessibility webinar? Experience “Developing Accessible Courses in Articulate Storyline 360” anytime, as well as other events in the Yukon Learning webinar archive. And as we nurture that e-Learning know-how, remember…as Raye Shilen says, “We’re all continually growing together towards the ultimate goal of making our courses available to all learners.”
Needless to say, in October, the Yukon Learning team and extended family were proud to witness our own Ron Price dubbed “Guild Master 2021” by The Learning Guild. Always a master in our hearts, Ron contributes to the learning community day after day. We’re honored to work beside you, Ron!
The Learning Guild is a community of practice for those involved in Learning and learning technologies. Our goal is to enable members to share their knowledge, expertise, and ideas with other members—and our success is dependent on member’s willingness to do so. The purpose of the Guild Master Award is to recognize those members who have consistently contributed to the community in terms of both quantity and quality of content—and thus helped make the community a vibrant center for learning.

And here you are, our loyal readers. Every few Thursday mornings, by way of this blog, we’ve swung by your email inbox, hoping to disclose the latest conversations we’ve gathered along the way. Stay tuned in 2022 for more “as heard in training” e-Learning wonderments, and be sure to reach out, should there be an Articulate 360 question that you want some answers to!
New to Articulate 360 in 2021
Our partners at Articulate have been busy too! In 2021, the Articulate team brought us new features such as:
- The immersive, panoramic 360 ° image experience
- Defining our own default slide dimensions
- Major enhancements to Storyline 360 translations
- New improvements to autofitting text
- Elapsed time variables
- Modern player updates, spanning from cover photos to custom colors
Reflecting on the past can provide a promising sense of more to come, whether that’s in in the Articulate 360 e-Learning development world or beyond.
Before we package up 2021 in a tidy bow, let’s glance back at all 15 “as heard in training” questions that we shared on the blog this year…
