When it comes to leveling up your Articulate 360 skills, you have a lot of choices in a variety of formats, including:
- Instructor-led training (virtual and in-person)
- Communities of practice
- On-demand videos
- YouTube
- E-Learning conference workshops
- E-Learning challenges
- Books
- Blogs
- Cohorts/Academies
- 1-on-1 support
- Social media groups
- ChatGPT and other AI solutions
- Phone a friend
- Figuring things out through trial and error
And, there are probably a ton more…all with varying degrees of success and/or failure. So, given all these different training options: How can you make the best decision for your Articulate 360 training?
In this post, we’ll help by considering a couple of key factors.
What Works for You?
Side Note: This is not a learning styles conversation – we wouldn’t want to get into the weeds about whether or not that’s even a thing. Just mentioning it has increased the blood pressure for some of you, we’re sure.😀 If so, please accept our apologies but keep reading.
Above all else, you know you. So, as you’re thinking about which training format to go with, it’s good to keep that in mind. Asking yourself these kinds of questions can help you figure out what works best for you:
- What type of learning delivery do you enjoy? Do you learn well virtually, or do you need to be away from your desk and the distractions of the office?
- How much time do you have? Do you find you only have a few hours here and there, or could you dedicate time away from the office to learn?
- How much guidance and support do you need along the way? What’s your current comfort level with technology? If you’re newer to using technology to create learning, you may want to consider a solution that has more hands-on support and coaching during training.
- What’s your budget? Obviously, this one may be out of your control, but it’s important to have this on hand as you start your research, to help limit your options.
Where to Begin?
Regardless of how you answered the questions in the first section, I think the best first step is to visit Articulate’s award-winning community, E-Learning Heroes.
So what’s the Heroes site all about? This is where Articulate has curated tons of resources for you all in one, easy-to-search place.
These resources include:
- Discussion forums
- Step-by-step user guides
- How-to tutorials
- Webinar recordings
- Design challenges
- Blog articles
For those of you who enjoy designing your own learning path, this may be your most valuable resource. However, if you desire a more structured training experience, be sure to select the Training and Tutorials option.
The Training and Tutorials page is where you can find in-depth opportunities to learn and hone your Articulate 360 skills, including:
- On-Demand Training (pre-recorded video tutorials, user guides, articles, etc.)
- Live Training Webinars (scheduled events on various topics)
- Tips & Tricks Blog (quick help on a specific feature)
- Certified Training Partners (for custom training)
Who are the Certified Training Partners, you ask? Let’s explore that next!
Who Are the Certified Training Partners?
In 2007, Articulate and Yukon Learning developed a training partnership. Since then, Yukon Learning has worked closely with the Articulate team to design and deliver training to customers worldwide.
Over time, we also identified, vetted, and trained partners in different parts of the world to deliver the same high-quality training experience in their respective regions and languages. So, regardless of where you are, you can find a partner near you!
This solution is great for those of you who prefer or need a more structured hands-on training experience. If that’s the case, Yukon Learning and its certified partners are the only entities with a Certified Training Partner badge from Articulate. That means each partner has been approved and certified to train the Articulate 360 suite of tools for Articulate.
Here are the only Certified Training Partners for Articulate 360:
