2023 has been a busy and exciting year for us here at Yukon Learning! From new webinars, conferences, Articulate features, and team members (even the fluffy kind), 2023 sure has been full of excitement and growth. Read on as we reflect on this paw-some year!
YL Give Back Program Continues!
We continued our quarterly “YL Give Back” initiative this year, with our team devoting an afternoon each quarter to giving back to our local communities in a variety of ways.
Some of the amazing ways our team members gave back included participating in a coast line clean up event, donating blood, volunteering at local animal shelters, rescue organizations, and food banks, as well as physical and monetary donations made to several charitable organizations. We love seeing all the awesome ways our team is making a difference in their local communities!
If you have any ideas for future “YL Give Back” events, please reach out and let us know!
Course Donations Help Crisis Effort!
You may recall that we donated our library of off-the-shelf courses (previously known as “Rapid Course”) to World Vision International, a deserving non-profit organization. We recently received an update, and they shared this story, which filled our humble hearts with joy:
Whenever a crisis arises somewhere, World Vision is one of the first groups to arrive to meet the need. In the case of the conflict in Ukraine, we have been able to help children and families who have been displaced by the fighting. To support this effort, the courses you donated to us have been instrumental in getting our local office sufficiently upskilled to support the ongoing humanitarian effort. You have been a tremendous help to us, and through us, have made a very meaningful contribution to those most in need in that part of the world.
We’re grateful to have contributed in this way, and look forward to hearing more success stories from our customers in the future!
Meet Raider!
We’re so excited to introduce our new buddy, Raider, to the YL family! We’re sponsoring Raider at Leader Dogs for the Blind as part of our Q4 Yukon Learning Give Back program! Raider is a Future Leader Dog, who’s beginning a remarkable career as a leader dog for a person who is blind or visually impaired at no cost to them.
What Else Is New?
Also in 2023, we were excited to welcome a new Yukon Learning team member, Elizabeth Pawlicki! Elizabeth joined our training team after almost 6 years with Articulate.
Since starting in May, Elizabeth worked with several customers on developing custom e-learning courses, was quickly certified to train the Articulate 360 suite of tools, participated in our newest webinar series, and created a brand new training for 2024 (which we’ll talk about a bit more in just a minute).

What’s Coming in 2024!
So, what’s on the horizon for Yukon Learning in 2024? We’re so excited to announce two new course offerings: “Creating Accessible E-Learning in Articulate 360” and a “Storyline Application Workshop!”
We’re busy putting the final touches on our new accessibility training after a successful pilot, getting it ready for public launch in January. Want to learn more? Check out the new course’s syllabus here and save your seat here.
We’re also designing a new Storyline 360 training where application of learned skills will take center stage. More to follow on that in the new year.
For now, let’s put a beautiful bow on 2023 with a wrap up of our blog posts for the year.
